The Bloody Greed of Public Employees' Unions

It's always the same with leftist unions and misnamed "progressive" politicians: bleed the real creators of prosperity to feed their own greed.  Greedy public employees' unions are the worst.  Public employees already make far more money than their neighbors across the street who do a better job at the same tasks in the private sector (not to mention receiving far greater benefits and more vacation days).  Yet if these unionists fear they might not be able to continue feeding their greed by a more legitimate political process, they do not hesitate to resort to mob rule and blood in the streets.

"Sometimes it's necessary to get out on the streets and 'get a little bloody,' a Massachusetts Democrat (Rep. Michael Capuano) said Tuesday in reference to labor battles in Wisconsin." http://thehill.com/blogs/blog-briefing-room/news/145627-dem-lawmaker-on-labor-protests-get-a-little-bloody-when-necessary

Of course no one should be surprised that a Democrat would favor mob rule. Democracy has long been recognized as tyranny of the majority. But modern unions and Democrats can't be bothered with gaining the support of a majority. Their greed comes first, even if it means blood in the streets.

To understand the evil psychology of modern "liberal progressives," read Ayn Rand's "Atlas Shrugged"

The device which more deeply prepares freedom lovers for success, A Course in Miracles , talks about our ultimate need to free ourselves from every kind of slavery:

You have been told to bring the darkness to the light, and guilt to holiness. And you have also been told that error must be corrected at its source. Therefore, it is the tiny part of your self, the little thought that seems split off and separate, that the Holy Spirit needs. The rest is fully in God's keeping, and needs no guide. But this wild and delusional thought needs help, because, in its delusions, it thinks it is the Son of God, whole and omnipotent, sole ruler of the kingdom it set apart to tyrannize by madness into obedience and slavery.
